Established in 1919, we are the first Rotary Club in Asia and the biggest in the Philippines.
    Presently, our club has 54 committees touching on a wide range of concerns in line with the four avenues of services and the New Generation.
    Membership in our club consists of past and present high government officials, including a past President of the Republic, chief executive and operating officers of various local and multi-national corporations, members of the diplomatic corps, the judiciary, the church, Philippine Congress, bankers and heads of financial institutions.

MESSAGE

    Today marks the beginning of another Rotary year in our lives as members of the Rotary Club of Manila.  Today, the mantle of leadership will be handed over to a team who will endeavor to relive the glory and prestige of the past that was: the ROTARY CLUB OF MANILA
     This Rotary Year 2007-2008, you have entrusted to me the singular privilege of leading our club in sharing talents, time and resources to give flesh and substance to Rotary International theme ROTARY SHARES and the time honored principle of “Service Above Self”.  A difficult and daunting task which can be accomplished with your wholehearted support and cooperation.
    I am very confident that with your full backing, the Rotary Club of Manila will persevere to be the model and inspiration not only for Rotary Clubs in RI District 3810 but also the rest of the Rotary Districts in the Philippines.
