Sagip Kabataan Foundation, Inc. (SKFI)

The Sagip Kabataan (Save the Children) Foundation provides shelter, food, clothing, home care, rehabilitaion and training of victims of child prostitution, otherwise know as "Street Children" under the care and supervision of competent and dedicated persons. The main project of the foundation is the Sagip Kabataan Center. This is a joint project undertaken by the Sagip Kabataan Foundation, Inc. and the Rotary Club of Manila, with the support of other institutional donors, and administered by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul.

 

RCManila Foundation, Inc.
ORGANIZATION:

The RCManila Foundation, Inc. is a non-stock, nonprofit corporation organized to promote social and economic advancement, to foster international goodwill and understanding, and to render assistance to the Rotary Club of Manila.  In case of dissolution, the net assets of the Foundation shall be distributed to another nonprofit domestic corporation having similar objectives and purposes as the RCManila Foundation, Inc.  No part of the net income of the Foundation insures to the benefit of any officer, member or private individual.

The Foundation is exempt from the payment of income tax under the National Internal Revenue Code.

 
ACHIEVEMENTS: Since its incorporation in 1979, RCManila Foundation have raised funds for various RCM projects, including the Medico-Surgical Missions, Sagip Kabataan, Teachers Development Program and Scholarship Programs.
 

RCM Eye Bank Foundation, Inc.
OBJECTIVE:

The Rotary Club of Manila Eye Bank Foundation, Inc. is commited to fighting blindness in the Philippines and elsewhere through the procurement and distribution of donated eye tissue for use in eye tissue transplantation surgery, scientific research and health educational purposes.  Furthermore, it is dedicated to the identification and treatment of those patients suffering from corneal blindness and who are unable to acquire the necessary and appropriate treatment.  Finally, it is a partner in the general effort to educate the general population on the beneficial effects of human organ donation and to persuade such to act as organ donors. 
 
CODE OF ETHICS:

a. Eye bank tissue shall neither be bought nor sold.
b. Eye tissue shall be distributed without regard to age, creed,    religion, color, national origin or economic standing.
c. Eye tissue shall be distributed on a first come, first served    basis, except in emergencies.
d. The wishes of the immediate family shall be respected in    carrying out the donor's pledge.
e. The names of the donor, the recipient, and any other    identifying information shall not be disclosed without written    consent of the appropriate parties.
f. Eye pledges and consents shall be solicited in a dignified and    ethical manner.
g. Fund raising shall be conducted in a dignified and ethical    manner.
h. All public information shall be dignified and medically    approved.

 
RCM Medico-Surgical Mission Foundation
The Medico-Surgical Mission Foundation aims to carry on, conduct, and finance medico-surgical missions of practising physicians, surgeons and medical personnel in order to deliver professional medical and surgical services to afflicted indigent persons, particularly in rural areas, and to provide such professional medical and surgical services to said person free of charge, insofar as feasible.
