Rotary Club of Singapore Medical Equipments and Training Meeting Held

Rotary Club of Singapore invited Rotary Club of Manila to a meeting together with Rotary Club of Rizal West (District 3830), Rotary Club of Makati (District 3830) and Rotary Club of Chinatown Manila. The purpose was to present modern medical equipments for possible regional service partnerships providing medical equipment and training, specifically, endoscope.

Also discussed was the possibility of applying for international and regional grants available through Rotary International for future purchases.

Pres. Jimmie Policarpio, Dir. Carlos Reyes, PP Dr. Cesar Ubaldo and AS Rene Policarpio attended on behalf of Rotary Club of Manila.

Pres. Jimmie seized the opportunity to invite all Rotarians present to the Rotary Club of Manila Centennial Celebration in June of 2019. Also, during the discussion, doctors from St. Luke’s Bonifacio Global City were made aware of the One Rotary, One Philippines, One for Marawi Medical Mission Team and all have expressed willingness to be part of the mission team.

The event was held at the Shangri-la at the Fort, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig last January 22, 2018.
