Book Donation for Typhoon Victims of Leyte Province

Tacloban bound Book Donation Delegation of Rotary Club of Manila, Cheer Up Mission Inc. and Rotary Club of New Orleans met for breakfast a day prior to their departure February 8, 2018 at New World Hotel, Makati.

The donation initially was supposee to consists of 640 boxes of school books, 10 computers with monitors, 10 wheel chairs and 20 walkers to two schools districts affected by typhoon yolanda that devastated Tacloban. However, after series of coordinating meeting, it was decided to ship a 1×40 cv purely brand new books .

RCM Delegation is headed by IPP Teddy Ocampo together with Committee Chairman Emyl Eugenio who himself is a book importer and publisher. Breakfast fellowship was held at the Wine Museum Cafe 1223 of New World Makati Hotel. attendees were ; IPP Teddy Ocampo, Dir Caloy Reyes, Treas Nicky Villasenor, AT Ner Lonzaga, AS Rene Policarpio, Cheer Up Mission Team – Ken Landriault, Bruce Bain, Michelle Hernandez, James Mara, Christopher M, and Rotary Club of New Orleans board member Heather Kirk.
